New Years Eve at the Inn

As New Years Day approached Liza handed out party favors, the crowd was having a great time, the dj put on the appropriate tune, and the champagne flowed.
My approach to the lighting was to let in as much of the natural light as possible
without getting too blurry.
The photography reflects the authenticity of the couples' personality and taste which is what I always aim to achieve. This can be acomplished with a creative blend of technique and good intuition in following the action at the appropriate time, location, and with minimal intervention.

Christina and Jeremy

Here is another creative album please note: these slideshows are renderings of the
actual album layouts created by you the client.
With over 175 possible layouts you can pretty much do whatever your heart desires.

Late Summer Wedding

Kellie and Chris' Mom's album is a creative story of the day from Mom's pespective.
Again, a fairly traditionl wedding, very large bridal party, creative use of time at the Inn things are usually rushed but the photographer and the Inn do not want
their clients to notice. Making a 40 minute photo session look like it took much longer is something that comes from lots of experience.
The party was great, and the Inn knows how to run things smoothly.

Summer Wedding

Amy and Ryan had a very traditional wedding, I went to their home where the bridesmaids were getting ready, the outside area around the home was of particular importance to Amy, the Church was a little dark on the altar, we proceeded to the Inn following the ceremony, the outside front is overlooked and has some perspecive and angle challenges as well as being backlit, but with the right technique and attention to detail we can get some beautiful photos.
The Inn is very gracious in their handling of the photo session, bringing food and drink for the wedding party during the session.
This was a full coverage event and I even stayed a little longer to get the bride and groom leaving. It was a blast, as hopefully you will get the feeling.
There are more weddings to follow that all have their own unique feel.
That is what journalistic photography is all about, but there is often a need for
some traditional photos to be taken all with the smooth movement forward of the days events without detaining the family or wedding party.
